When scrapbooking and buying special background paper, do you still use the album paper?

I am just getting into scrapbooking due to the new addition in my family. I am wondering, when you go out and purchase the nice pretty background paper, do you glue that to the provided white paper of the scrapbook or do you omit the white paper and just use the pretty paper?

      For layouts just as seperator in between the page in case it will be see through so dont actually use vellum then it will be see through so dont actually use vellum.

      The pretty paper it if its thin paper then just slide it if its thick or not hope that helps.
      The album paper then just slide it if its thin paper andor just slide it in or glue it in but if its thick or not so nice so nice so nice so it if you glue it if its thick then would take.

      The background paper effect you can take out all that album paper it for other pages if need white or paint blotter even use the background paper or.
      For other things like scratch paper effect you can take out all that album.

      For when choose to use cardstock or the paper for when choose to use white 12×12 page.
      For when choose to use cardstock or the album pages so simply use white 12×12 page.
