I need help making a housewarming scrapbook?

My boyfriend’s parents’ house burned down last month. We held a housewarming for them last week. I’m trying to make them a Maya Road house shaped scrapbook as a gift. I want to include pictures from the housewarming and a few good “house” kind of quotes. Any suggestions? Do you think it would be wrong to include a picture of the old house? Thanks!
