I design scrapbook paper and would love to sell to some major company :) but since I need to have a head start, how would I go about making money selling my scrapbook paper designs?

I sell my scrapbook layouts on eBay, have a store. There are several who do if you want to take a look. I also have sold at craft shows and swap meets, but prefer eBay.

You might also considerfinding web sites that do digital stuff and might be able to offer you a consignment for selling downloadable digital items…

We have a web site and might be willing to do a test run for you with either digital or shipable.
